Our approach to the hospitality sector involves identifying premium properties and sites, supporting the development process as necessary, and working closely with hotel management companies as appropriate. In building our portfolio of hotel and hospitality investments we draw upon the extensive global experience of our parent company, the Libra Group, which owns and operates approximately 50 world-class hotels on five continents. Elandis holds the Libra Group hospitality portfolio across the Americas and is currently pursuing a number of pipeline projects in the hospitality sector.
We believe that it makes commercial sense to outsource day-to-day management of a hotel to a specialist organization. We have close relationships not only with our sister companies such as the critically acclaimed Grace Hotels Group, but with many of the global hotel management companies. Today we have an extensive and varied portfolio of hotels in Northeast USA.
In South America we sourced and developed the entire Grace Cafayate Project in northern Argentina and are now engaged in the exclusive La Dolfina Grace on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. We signed a landmark partnership with Hyatt Hotels Corporation to develop multiple hotels across Brazil.
Also in Central America we advised Grace Hotels on the management agreement for Grace Panama in the heart of Panama City, a complex integration of a 60-bedroom hotel within the newly-constructed Twist Tower office development in Panama’s Obarrio district.
Residential rental units across the Southern United StatesView projects
In recent years we have developed an extensive portfolio of multifamily properties which we own and manage, primarily in the Southern United States.
This brings in our experience gained through our premium residential investments in prime locations throughout the Americas.
Multifamily properties require a particular and distinctive approach. From the very beginning we undertake a full assessment of all properties and scope out a wide program of improvements to enhance the residential community. We also integrate ourselves with homeowner associations and bring our resources and commitment to the benefit of all condominium units and residents.
We continue to pursue further prime real estate investment and development opportunities to grow our residential property management services portfolio.
Development of hotels, commercial and residential properties globallyView projects
Elandis has developed, and continues developing a number of projects – primarily commercial, residential and hotel properties located around the world. At Elandis, our primary focus is to identify strategic investment opportunities in various asset classes, support local partners in the development and execution of projects and act as an active financing partner when required. We work with world-class contractors and design teams to create high-quality finished products that are specifically aligned with each development vision.
In Argentina, we have identified strategic locations and developed residential projects from inception to completion – such as Beccar Plaza, located in the city of San Isidro, a province of Buenos Aires – which was sold immediately after. Additionally, the centrally-located residential project, Forum residences in Buenos Aires, boasts 505,904 square feet of modern and urban-designed architecture in the renowned city of Puerto Madero. Our residential developments, such as Grace Cafayate and La Dolfina Grace, are also in the final stages of development.
In Brazil, we have completed the Hyatt Place hotel in São José do Rio Preto, a joint development agreement between Elandis and Hyatt Hotels, and the first hotel development in Brazil as part of this global agreement. Currently, construction on Hyatt Place’s second hotel development in Macae, is on schedule.
